January 18 – June 30, 2019 in Amsterdam
This training offers an intense program of functional anatomy, technique and analysis of the yin yoga poses, theory of the chakras and chakra and their relevance to our lives, meditation techniques, exploration of yoga philosophical concepts and lots of practice. the 200 hour program offers an introduction to meridians and the anatomy of the upper body.
This is an intense program meant to deepen our understanding and knowledge.
50 hours Intensive
October 30 – November 6, 2019 in Portugal
We have all heard about texts like the Mahabharata and the Bhagavad Gita; some of us have even read it, and all teachers tell us about the importance of these works. But can we truly understand thebe books, or their relevance to our lives today? In this course we will read and discuss these texts and explore their relationship with meditation and the chakras. We will also practice yin and yang yoga daily.
Yin Yoga & Chakra Studies
100 hours Intensive
October 13 – October 27, 2019 in Portugal
Open skies, trees, rocks, mountains and rivers form the ideal environment for practice and introspection. We will immerse ourselves in the theory of the chakras and meditation, anatomy, analysis of poses and both yin and yang practices. The whole course is set to be a deeply satisfying and nourishing experience, as well as offering the students all the tools needed to teach yin yoga with confidence and skill.

January 26 – April 21, 2019
in Ghent (4 weekends)
This training is meant for those who have already followed at least 50 hours of training with us before. We will explore the theory of the chakras and chakra meditation, and their relationship to Patanjali and the Eight Limbs of Yoga. We will also review some of our anatomy principles and practice yoga together.
All our trainings are led by Marcel van de Vis Heil and Anat Geiger, both teachers with extensive experience, who have taught students and formed teachers for many years.
Marcel and Anat are both E-500 RYT (experienced registered yoga teachers) by Yoga Alliance and provide both 200 and 300 hours Yoga Alliance recognized trainings: registry ID:118459. After fininshing one or more YogaGarden trainings you can sign up at Yoga Alliance as a RYT 200 or RYT 500 teacher.
