This course is a classic: anatomy, philosophy, technique of postures, a variety of workshops on different topics, from use of voice to pregnancy yoga, and lots of practice. A 200-hour course meant for students who enjoy physical movement and wish to receive a broad, intense first education in yoga.
What you will learn
- Anatomy Foundations: skeletal segments, muscle groups, skeletal variations and its importance in teaching yoga, the spine and its structures
- Yoga Poses: all the basic yoga poses for teaching beginner and intermediate classes, analysis of the poses and their functions, alternatives for injuries and adjustments
- Sun Salutation: learn to teach the poses in a flow, linked by sun salutations
- Philosophy: introduction to the history of yoga philosophy and to the sutras of Patanjali
