    Vinyasa and Hatha Flow

This course is a classic: anatomy, philosophy, technique of postures, a variety of workshops on different topics, from use of voice to pregnancy yoga, and lots of practice. A 200-hour course meant for students who enjoy physical movement and wish to receive a broad, intense first education in yoga.

What you will learn

  • Anatomy Foundations: skeletal segments, muscle groups, skeletal variations and its importance in teaching yoga, the spine and its structures
  • Yoga Poses: all the basic yoga poses for teaching beginner and intermediate classes, analysis of the poses and their functions, alternatives for injuries and adjustments
  • Sun Salutation: learn to teach the poses in a flow, linked by sun salutations
  • Philosophy: introduction to the history of yoga philosophy and to the sutras of Patanjali

This training is for anyone with an affinity for dynamic, active yoga, with a minimum of one year experience.

This is a 200-hour training, recognized by Yoga Alliance USA. It consists of 9 weekends (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday afternoon/evening) and 20 classes at YogaGarden. Students are given opportunities for following apprenticeship (stage) and are encouraged to practice together in the studio and elsewhere.

Certificates are granted to those who attend a minimum of 8 weekends, complete all assignments and successfully pass their exams.
